Set up Mailio on your phone

Mailio supports standard IMAP and SMTP, so you can use Apple Mail, the Gmail app (for IMAP accounts), Samsung Mail, K-9 Mail and other apps on your phone and tablet.

You receive your server details and login in the welcome email from us. Always use the details we send for your account — not generic examples from the internet.

iPhone and iPad (Apple Mail)

1. Open Settings → Apps → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account
2. Enter your name, your full @mailio.dk address and your password
3. Choose IMAP and enter the incoming and outgoing server from your welcome email
4. Turn on Mail — and also Calendars and Contacts if you want to sync them

Android

1. Open your email app (Gmail with «Other», Samsung Mail, Outlook and others)
2. Choose Add account → IMAP
3. Enter your @mailio.dk address, password and the servers from the welcome email
4. Use SMTP for outgoing mail with the same username and password

Security tips

• Use a strong, unique password for your mail account
• Turn on two-factor authentication in the portal if it is offered for your account
• Keep your apps and operating system up to date
